Combining work, study and family proves a challenge for many in our individualist culture. The work/life balance to me has always been made easier by calling it 'life'. By this I mean I've challenged what is normal by including Faith in my study and work, through necessity. She has been to conferences, lectures, tutorials, workshops, overseas seminars...she even got up and presented. An academic in the making.
